Pudu Robotics has officially opened its European headquarters in Neuss, Germany. The new site combines sales, demonstrations, training, warehousing and after-sales service to support the rollout of its robots across European markets.

The move marks a new stage in the Chinese service robot maker’s regional development. The company wants to bring its sales and technical teams closer to European customers and distributors, while strengthening its capacity for project delivery, maintenance and on-site support. The new headquarters is already operational.

Pudu’s European headquarters: seven operational functions on one site

The Neuss headquarters brings together offices and operations, a product showroom, sales teams, training, warehousing, after-sales service and repairs on a single site. This setup is intended to make customer demonstrations, distributor training and the coordination of technical interventions easier.

The site adds to Pudu Robotics’ existing European offices, its service centre in Germany and its storage facilities in Germany and the Netherlands. These facilities hold complete robots and spare parts to support deliveries and maintenance work.

Denner supermarkets use more than 200 Pudu CC1 cleaning robots

The manufacturer highlights its deployment at Swiss supermarket chain Denner. According to Pudu Robotics, the retailer already uses more than 200 CC1 series cleaning robots across its store network.

A multi-site deployment of this kind requires adapting the solutions to each store’s layout, cleaning needs and working methods. Pudu Robotics says it works with its customers on installation and operating arrangements, combining the necessary adaptations with ongoing technical support.

The CC1 series is therefore presented as part of a commercial application already in use in multiple stores, rather than as a mere prototype or a one-off demonstration.

Pudu Robotics customers and markets in more than 20 European countries

Pudu Robotics says its business currently covers more than 20 countries in Europe and 16 industry sectors on the continent. These include retail, food service, hospitality, healthcare, transport and education.

The company names several European customers: EDEKA, Albert Heijn, Carrefour, Marriott, Van der Valk, Pizza Hut, Intermarché and Denner. It also lists Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport among the transport facilities using its solutions.

According to figures provided by the manufacturer, 20 European markets, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands, Norway, the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, the Czech Republic, Romania and Poland, have recorded annual business growth of more than 60% over the past two years.

Pudu Robotics in Europe: nearly 90 sales and technical support staff

To support this expansion, Pudu Robotics has nearly 50 sales staff in Europe and nearly 40 employees dedicated to technical support. These teams assist distribution partners and customer projects in various countries.

The manufacturer is also expanding its cooperation with distributors, system integrators and local service providers. Its multilingual support covers English, German, French, Spanish and Italian, among other languages.

Sun Lixia, vice president of Pudu Robotics and general manager for Europe, describes the new site as a way to strengthen proximity to customers and regional partners. The stated goal is to combine the group’s technological capabilities with local services able to support projects through deployment and operation.

Worldwide, Pudu Robotics says it operates in more than 85 countries and regions and has passed 130,000 cumulative units delivered across all product lines.
