The Unitree G1 humanoid robot is listed at $13,500 on the manufacturer’s official website, excl. taxes and shipping. In Germany, prices recorded at several retailers range from €17,884 to €27,370. Between the manufacturer’s price, accessories and additional costs, the amount to budget depends on the sales channel and the chosen configuration.

The G1 is part of the lineup of Chinese manufacturer Unitree. It comes in a standard version and a G1 EDU variant, which differ in motors, payload capacity and development options. The public reference price applies only to the standard G1. For the G1 EDU, Unitree directs buyers to its sales team.

What is the official price of the Unitree G1?

As of 20 October 2026, Unitree lists the standard G1 at $13,500 on its official product page. The manufacturer states that this amount excludes taxes and shipping costs. It is therefore a reference price in US dollars, not a French price including all taxes.

The G1 EDU has no public price on this page. Unitree shows “Contact sales”, meaning the price is available on request. This version stands out in particular for its up to 43 degrees of freedom, higher maximum knee torque and support for secondary development.

How much does the Unitree G1 cost at German retailers?

Prices recorded in Germany show significant differences between distributors. On 2 September 2026, the range ran from €17,884 to €27,370, according to information from MonsterDealz.de and Notebookcheck.

Two offers recorded on 3 April 2026 illustrate this gap. Joybuy listed the G1 at €17,884, shipping included. Reichelt offered the robot at €27,275.89. These prices reflect two distributors and their respective terms of sale.

Availability is another point of comparison. Of six German retailers listing the G1, only one advertised delivery within fourteen working days. A robot appearing in a catalogue does not necessarily mean it will ship quickly.

These offers are part of a German market where several humanoid robots have commercial listings. The models concerned and their terms of sale are also covered in our article on humanoid robots listed at German retailers.

What does the Unitree G1 base price include?

The standard G1 has 23 degrees of freedom, with six motorised joints per leg, five per arm and one at the waist. It has a removable 9,000 mAh lithium battery, a depth camera and a 3D LiDAR.

The official product page also lists an eight-core processor, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, a four-microphone array and a 5 W speaker. The remote control and over-the-air (OTA) updates are among the standard G1’s features.

The three-fingered Dex3-1 hands are not part of the base configuration. They are offered as an option for the G1 EDU, with seven degrees of freedom per hand and force feedback.

Unitree notes that the maximum torque refers to the most powerful joint motor and that an arm’s permissible load varies considerably depending on its posture. Technical parameters also depend on the robot’s configuration.

Additional costs of buying a Unitree G1

The manufacturer’s price of $13,500 is stated excl. taxes and shipping. Both must therefore be added to arrive at a full purchase cost. The final amount depends on invoicing and delivery terms.

Accessories are another budget item. At one German retailer, a spare battery was listed at €839.99 and a remote control at €297.50. These are accessories sold separately, and they do not change the fact that a remote control is included in the G1’s official specifications.

The chosen configuration can also affect the cost, especially for the G1 EDU and its hardware options. For a cross-border purchase, the budget needs to account for applicable taxes, transport and any import-related costs, depending on the channel chosen.

Why is the G1 EDU price available on request?

Unitree sets the G1 EDU apart from its standard model through several technical features. The EDU can have between 23 and 43 degrees of freedom, compared with 23 for the regular G1. Maximum knee torque reaches 120 N·m instead of 90 N·m, and the stated maximum payload per arm rises from about 2 kg to 3 kg.

The EDU also supports two additional degrees of freedom at the waist, two at the wrist and optional three-fingered Dex3-1 hands. It supports secondary development and can take an additional computing module, such as an Orin unit.

The listed manufacturer warranty is 18 months for the EDU, compared with 8 months for the standard model. The full warranty terms are set out in a separate brochure.

These differences explain why the two versions are best treated as distinct configurations rather than as a single product with two prices. The manufacturer uses on-request pricing for the EDU.

How much does the Unitree G1 cost in France?

In its report on Instadrone, a company based in Béziers, Futura mentions a price generally under €16,000 for the robot alone. This figure comes from the press and is not an official French price published by Unitree.

Instadrone is working on adapting a G1 for rescue, security and inspection missions. The project shows a humanoid platform being used in a specific professional setting, with adaptations that go beyond the base configuration. Details are in our article on the Instadrone project in Béziers.

Futura also reports a stated battery life of one hour, compared with about two hours on Unitree’s official product page. Each figure is attributed to its own source.

Prices recorded in Germany provide European commercial benchmarks, while the amount published by Unitree remains in US dollars. For conditions specific to the French market, the Buying Unitree in France page covers information for that country.

What we do not know yet

Several points remain undisclosed or unverified as of 20 October 2026. Unitree does not publish an official French price for the G1 in the available information, nor a price or currency for the G1 EDU. Actual availability in France and the existence of local after-sales service also remain to be established.

The detailed terms of the manufacturer warranties are not reproduced on the official product page. The name and content of the G1 EDU’s SDK, and whether an SDK is available for the standard edition, are not specified.

On the technical side, the exact processor model, the part numbers and detailed specifications of the camera and LiDAR, the battery’s energy capacity in Wh and the charging time are not given. Independently measured performance, including real-world battery life, has yet to be documented.

Finally, the prices recorded at German retailers are dated observations, not permanent commitments on prices or stock. A final French price, including taxes, shipping and any additional costs, cannot be established from these figures alone.
