AgiBot is a Chinese humanoid robot maker based in Shanghai. In three years it has gone from a handful of prototypes to series production. Its catalogue runs from small service humanoids to wheeled industrial robots, and also includes quadrupeds and cleaning robots. The company is led by Deng Taihua, its founder, chairman and CEO. Peng Zhihui, co-founder, president and CTO, publicly announces its production milestones. Analyst firms rank it first worldwide for humanoid shipments. Since February 2026 it has relied on the automotive supplier Minth in Europe, and it is preparing a stock market listing in Hong Kong.

AgiBot robot lineup by series

AgiBot’s official store lists six product families. Most models also carry a Chinese commercial name: Yuanzheng for the A series, Lingxi for the X series and Jingling for the G series. The press release for the European launch in February 2026 highlights four series, A2, X2, G2 and D1, and describes the range as “deployment-ready”.

Series Category (AgiBot description) Models listed on the official store
A (Yuanzheng) Full-size humanoids A3 Ultra, A3, A2 Ultra, A2 Lite
G (Jingling) Force-controlled dual-arm industrial robots G2, G2 Air, G2 Max
X (Lingxi) Compact humanoids X2 Ultra New Version, X2 Neo, X2 REC, X2 EDU
D1 Quadrupeds MaxPro, Max, Ultra, Ultra-W, Pro, Edu
AGILINK Hands and gripper OmniHand 3 Lite-S, OmniHand 3, OmniHand 3 Ultra, OmniPicker 3
C Cleaning C5, C4, C2, C2P

The X series is the most detailed in terms of use cases. AgiBot positions the X2 Ultra New Version for guided tours, service and interaction. The X2 Neo targets performances and interaction, the X2 REC data collection for robot learning, and the X2 EDU teaching and development. The X2 Neo has neither the autonomous navigation hardware nor support for secondary development. Both are reserved for the X2 Ultra New Version, which adds a 3D LiDAR, an RGB-D camera and an Orin NX board. The page dedicated to the AgiBot X2 covers the versions and their specifications.

The official store’s home page shows no prices. The X2 Neo product page lists a price of $25,600, while the X2 Ultra New Version is available on request. The G2, G2 Air, G2 Max, X2 REC and X2 EDU pages direct buyers to a sales contact. All orders ship from China. Customs duties are paid by the buyer.

AgiBot prices published in China

AgiBot opened sales of its entire range in China on 18 August 2025. According to Jiemian, its online store listed three prices that day:

  • the Yuanzheng A2 Youth at 168,000 yuan;
  • the Lingxi X2 Youth at 98,000 yuan;
  • the Jingling G1 at 450,000 yuan, the highest price in the range.

The A2 Flagship, X2 Exploration and X2 Flagship versions were available on contact. The Paper notes that both Youth models were also on pre-order on JD.com. For the A2 Youth, it gives a list price of 198,000 yuan, cut to 168,000 yuan by a limited-time promotion.

Prices for full-size humanoids have fallen sharply. In December 2025, Wang Chuang, senior vice president at AgiBot, told 36Kr that the first Yuanzheng A2 sold for around one million yuan. By his account, mainstream models had since dropped to just over 500,000 yuan, a fall of about 50% according to the article.

For the X2, a Jiemian article dated 22 May, probably 2025, described a pre-order in three versions (Interactive, Exploration, Flagship). The overall range ran from 100,000 yuan to 400,000 yuan. AgiBot described a “B to B to C” sales model: the manufacturer supplies the robots and its partners deploy them to the general public. Wei Qiang was then expecting large-scale deliveries in the second half of 2025 and several thousand units by the end of 2026. More reference points are collected in the guide to humanoid robot prices.

Production volumes: from 6 prototypes to 20,000 robots off the line

The milestones below were announced by AgiBot and reported by the Chinese press. They count robots coming off the production line, sometimes delivered the same day. They are not sales.

AgiBot market share: Counterpoint and IDC figures

Counterpoint Research published its figures on 20 August 2026. In the first half of 2026, global humanoid shipments exceeded 22,000 units, up nearly 300% year on year. AgiBot ranks first with about 9,700 units, a share above 43%. It is followed by:

  • Unitree, more than 7,000 units (31%);
  • Galbot, more than 1,100 units (about 5%);
  • UBTECH, about 4.4%;
  • Leju, 650 units (2.9%).

The top five players, all Chinese, account for 86% of shipments. Counterpoint forecasts more than 50,000 units for the whole of 2026 and says AgiBot is targeting more than CNY 10 billion in revenue by 2027. AgiBot repeated these figures in its own press release.

For 2025, Yicai Global cited IDC on 25 February 2026: AgiBot reportedly shipped 5,200 humanoids, putting it first worldwide. The total market reportedly reached about 18,000 units, more than six times the previous year’s volume. AgiBot itself announced a cumulative 5,000 robots off the line in early December 2025.

AgiBot customers and named deployments

Longcheer Technology: the G2 on a factory line

The G2 works on Longcheer Technology’s consumer electronics production line. AgiBot says it performs real production tasks there. The 15,000th robot, a G2, was delivered to Longcheer’s Nanchang plant. Shanghai Securities News reports that eight G2 units worked for six days on a tablet quality-control line. They handled 17,625 products, with a 99.99% success rate according to the newspaper’s figures. The same article judges their efficiency “broadly equivalent to that of humans”, but points out that the machine’s cost remains high.

Chimelong: humanoid robots in a leisure park

The 20,000th robot, a Yuanzheng A3 Ultra, was delivered to the Chimelong group in Hengqin. Deng Taihua sees it as the starting point of a ten-year strategic partnership. More than 300 AgiBot robots are in regular service in the park, at more than 100 interaction points.

Asda: 100 X2 robots in stores

At the end of September 2026, 100 Lingxi X2 robots were installed in 100 stores of the kitchenware maker Asda (爱仕达). They act as in-store promoters, ten hours a day, from 10 am to 8 pm. A three-day livestream was organised in three cities from 28 September. This type of use is covered more broadly on the page about reception and service robots.

AgiBot in Europe: the Minth partnership

On 24 February 2026, in Munich, AgiBot launched its full range for Germany and Europe. The Minth group is its strategic partner and sales agent for the European market. According to the press release, the automotive supplier has been established in Europe for about fifteen years. It employs 27,367 people and has 78 plants and offices. It claims more than 40% market share in the region for aluminium trim and battery tray structures. Its teams are based in Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Czechia, Poland and Serbia. Its plants will serve as training and data-collection grounds for the robots.

Yicai Global places Minth’s headquarters in Taipei and names William Shi as AgiBot’s general manager for Europe and the Americas. The press release mentions neither prices nor a delivery date.

In France, the press reported a pre-order for the X2 on JoyBuy, JD.com’s platform, in April 2026. Journal du Robot gave a price “from €17,889” and described the robot as “deliverable in France”. The site avcesar cited €17,889 for the base version and €36,889 for the Ultra version, presenting them as promotional prices.

Other European retailers offer the range:

  • OpenELAB lists the X2 with 25 degrees of freedom at €31,498.95. Its page carries the mention “incl. VAT”, but also an “excl. VAT” label.
  • Unchained Robotics, in Germany, offers the G2 from €1,000 per month through hire-purchase or instalment payments, with no purchase price shown.

AgiBot funding and Hong Kong IPO plans

Reuters, as carried by The Standard on 24 July 2026, reported that AgiBot had started its Hong Kong IPO process, citing Securities Times. CITIC Securities is the coordinator. The report mentions a target valuation of $20 billion and a revenue target of 4 billion yuan for 2026.

TechNode, citing Caijing on 14 October 2026, reported a funding round of about RMB 1 to 1.5 billion being finalised, at a valuation of about RMB 50 billion. It gives 2025 revenue as RMB 1.05 billion. According to an investor quoted in the report, the Hong Kong listing, in preparation since July, would be pushed back beyond the end of 2026. AgiBot declined to comment.
