Several newly built Figure 03 humanoid robots leave the BotQ factory and walk across Figure’s campus in a video posted on 2 November by Brett Adcock. The demonstration comes after the company announced in July that it had built 1,000 units.
Figure founder and CEO Brett Adcock shared a clip of about 19 seconds on X showing several white and black humanoids walking outside the BotQ manufacturing site. The machines move along a path on the campus while people walk nearby. The post offers a concrete look at the robots coming out of the company’s production facilities.
Figure 03 robots walk near pedestrians on Figure’s campus
In the video, several recently assembled Figure 03 robots walk one behind the other. One robot uses a crosswalk marked on the ground, while others follow the same route near the building.
“Freshly built F.03 robots leaving BotQ and walking across campus,” Brett Adcock wrote in his 2 November post.
The clip is a visual demonstration of the robots’ ability to walk in this outdoor setting. However, it does not show whether they are being teleoperated or moving autonomously.
Figure built its 1,000th humanoid robot in July
The new video follows a series of announcements about rising production at Figure.
In April, Brett Adcock said that BotQ had built more robots in March than in the company’s entire previous history.
In July, Figure then announced that it had reached its 1,000th Figure 03 humanoid robot built. To mark this manufacturing milestone, the company presented a gold-coloured unit in a team photo taken in front of the facility.
That figure referred to cumulative production, not to 1,000 robots delivered to customers. The 2 November video shows newly completed units but is not a new production update.
Why Figure is expanding its fleet: training Helix and testing robots
Figure presents the growth of its fleet as a way to support several activities: internal research, data collection, development of household tasks and commercial applications.
Having more robots lets the teams collect more data for Helix, Figure’s artificial intelligence system, and spot hardware failures that can emerge during extended use.
These activities relate to developing and evaluating the machines. The Figure 03 robots walking across campus are an internal demonstration, separate from any commercial delivery.
Figure 04: Figure is also developing its next humanoid robot
Alongside Figure 03 production, the company is working on a new generation of humanoid robot called Figure 04.
Development of the next model continues as Figure uses its current fleet to collect data, improve its systems and observe how its robots behave over time.
